The Inn at Herrington Harbour is part of the "Eco-Lifestyle Marina Resort" at Herrington Harbour South. It welcomes and surrounds its guests in a relaxing, ecologically sensitive marina environment. This year the Inn invites you to relax in our gardens, where last year there was impervious asphalt. These gardens nurture wildlife and reduce runoff into the Chesapeake Bay. We also revitalized the exterior of our buildings, instead of demolishing them - recycling, if you will. Sustainable living practices and preservation of the natural environment are our way of life.

Management and Leadership
-
Environment Policy Statement
- Environmental Team: Our team is made up of members from the office, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel. Anyone may attend meetings, on the first Wednesday of each month, and may offer their views at any time. Our mission is to continually evaluate and elevate our efforts to be an environmentally progressive Company.
- Set Annual Goals: We are monitoring our electric, propane, and water usage in an effort to lower usage. Alternative approaches to their usage are being sought out and considered.
- Environmentally Preferable Procurement or Purchasing Policy: Room amenities (shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion) are natural with containers made from recycled materials. Our cleaning products are "bay safe". Paper products (toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, napkins) are made from 100% recycled material.
